Advance your drawing skills with a detailed study of light, value, and form. Through hands-on demonstrations, discussions and guided studio time, students learn how to see and interpret value. This course guides students through a series of projects to strengthen their drawing skills.

Rendering detailed representational work is a labor-intensive and painstaking process! We offer this course to seasoned artists, or students who have completed a prior workshop or intermediate drawing sessions.

This course is self-paced with students working on independent concepts of their interest under the guidance of skilled instructors. The class focuses on reinforcing the study of facial structure, assessing accurate values, while offering tips and tricks for creating fine detail in highly realist work.

Enjoying sketching from a live model in an encouraging and relaxed environment! While this course is primarily independent study, instructors will be on site to offer support and suggestions as needed.

Students are welcome to bring their own drawing supplies, but all charcoal and paper is provided for this class.
