"Ao" has been selected as one of the top 20 finalists out of over 3000 entries this year in The Portrait Society of America's 26th Annual Competition.

The Ao Nagas are a major ethnic group native to mokokchung district of Nagaland, India.

Traditional ornaments worn by women of this tribe includes necklace made of translucent carnelian glass beads and brass bugles. Ear rings are made with a tuft of cotton wool.
